A Thanksgiving Feastly
It seems almost fitting that the day before Thanksgiving, Israeli dining platform, Feastly, has raised $1.25 million in seed funding from the Silicon Valley based Westly group.
Feastly, founded by Tel Aviv University graduate student, Noah karesh, works to expose local diners to hot new chefs, exclusive restaurants, and mouth-watering recipes. People refer to Feastly as the airbnb for restaurants. Feastly provides its users with a variety of options when it comes to using its services. If users prefer the comforts of their own homes, Feastly will send over a chef to whip up a gourmet meal, or even a chef to teach a cooking class. And if users are penchant to a culinary night out on the town, then Feastly will match its users on the basis of their “taste” preferences.
Launched one year ago, Feastly is active in cities such as San Francisco, Washington D.C, and New York. Let’s wait and see what Feastly cooks up for us in the next year.
