Tel Aviv cracks top 10 universities with unicorn founders
Stanford is the flag bearer when it comes to unicorn start-ups, those that are valued at over $1 billion. This should come as no surprise as it is the epicenter of Silicon Valley.
But 7,000 miles away is Tel Aviv University (TAU), the epicenter of another blossoming technology ecosystem. According to accounting firm Sage, TAU was ranked 7th on list, with seven founders graduating from the university going on to start companies now considered unicorns.
Some of the major companies include ironSource, Conduit and ForeScout.
