Social media sharing tool Start A Fire raises $2.5M

Israeli startup Start A Fire has raised $2.5M in a Series A funding round led by Canaan Venture Partners.

Start A Fire has created a unique social media attribution tool specific to marketers, brands and publishers. The company cofounder and CEO said, ““Brands, bloggers and influencers are all working hard to build their communities by discovering and sharing great content, yet they still aren’t able to get the full value out of these efforts. Start A Fire enables them to add their content recommendations to any link they share, increasing their exposure and enabling them to reach new audiences. This funding will allow us to further develop a comprehensive and seamless attribution solution that addresses the key needs of content sharers across all verticals, struggling to maintain control of their social footprint and maximize their reach.”
