Nano Textile announced it can turn any fabric antibacterial

Nano Textile has developed a technology that can permanently prevent the growth of bacteria on both natural and synthetic fibers, leading to the ability to prevent debilitating bacterial infections such as Methicilin-resistant Staphylocossus aureus (MRSA). Textiles can be transformed to become antibacterial by embedding zinc-oxide nanoparticles onto the fabric.

Bacterial infections acquired during hospitalization are a major cause of illness and death. As of late, “superbugs” have gained notoriety for their increasing resistance to antibiotics.
