1) Position: Project Coordinator

The Israel Economic Mission seeks a new Project Coordinator for a temporary position in its Los Angeles location. This Assistant will work to provide organizational and operational support in the development and execution of a major business event in 2017. This individual will be working with vendors, business partners, and support prospects. This position requires a 3-6 month commitment (early/mid-October 2016 through mid-March 2017).

2) Position: Manager of Trade & Business Development

he Government of Israel Economic Mission to The West Coast is looking for a new Manager of Trade and Business Development for an open position in San Francisco. The Manager will work to strengthen the trade relationship between Israel and the Western region of the United States. In addition to working on general trade issues, the Manager will oversee targeted economic sectors in specific industries. Ideal candidates must be able to grasp complex ideas quickly while also being assertive, detail oriented, diligent, and gregarious.

3) Position: Internship 

If you are a current undergraduate student or recent graduate passionate about international trade and commercial diplomacy, applying to our internship program can provide an immersive in-house experience with specific training in the areas of international trade, identifying relevant start-ups, and understanding the current investor climate. Interns selected would work part-time at the Economic Mission’s downtown San Francisco office.

Interns will receive individualized projects that they will be expected to spearhead under the supervision and guidance of a trade and business development director. Interns will work closely with their supervising business development director — attending and participating meetings, collaborating on projects, receiving feedback and support, uploading and updating social media content, and generally learning about the dimensions of international trade in a government context.

When the opportunity exists, we will work with an intern’s university to facilitate earning academic credits.
