Israel, Mexico and Their new Free Trade Agreement
Israel and Mexico recently amended the Israel-Mexico Free Trade Agreement (FTA) to allow for Israeli origin goods to be transshipped through the U.S. and Canada into Mexico without losing their duty free status under the FTA so long as certain conditions are met. In Response the Government of Israel is currently considering whether to hold a series of seminars throughout the U.S. and Canada to explain the amendment and its procedures for U.S and Canadian companies whom may be interested in taking advantage of this new deal. If you have any questions about this agreement or are interested in attending a possible seminar please contact our offices at LosAngeles@israeltrade.gov.il.
The amended protocol to the Israel-Mexico FTA can be found HERE.
