Intel Capital Expanding Israel Operations

Intel Capital, the global investment arm of the tech giant has invested in over 60 companies since 1996. Among Intel Capital’s successful exits are Anobit, which was recently acquired by Apple, Passave, acquired by PMC-Sierra, and Gteko, acquired by Microsoft. Investment returns have been in the double digits over the last five years, but “it’s not as good as it could have been,” said Marcos Battisti, managing director for Western Europe and Israel. Citing the lack of staff as the key reason for missed opportunities, Battisti plans to expand the Israel Operations and have a more aggressive approach. For the full story, click here
