Position: Project Coodinator

The Israel Economic Mission seeks a new Project Coordinator for a temporary position in its Los Angeles location. This Assistant will work to provide organizational and operational support in the development and execution of a major business event in 2017. This individual will be working with vendors, business partners, and support prospects. This position requires a 3-6 month commitment (early/mid-October 2016 through mid-March 2017).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Help create and manage event timelines and budgets
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files for event management project
  • Maintain current information in databases for business contacts, vendors, and guests
  • Provide research support and complete tasks required for event preparation
  • Help manage design and production for printed materials, brochures, signage, and other marketing pieces
  • Compile post-event wrap up reports and evaluations

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, administrative writing, and creative writing
  • Highly organized with the ability to meet multiple concurrent deadlines
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must be detail oriented and have the ability to multitask
  • Strong computers skills, including, but not limited to: Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Previous experience with event planning
