Bayer partners with Trendlines to invest in AgTech

The German based but ubiquitous pharmaceutical company, Bayer, has agreed to fund a $10 million agriculture investment platform with Trendlines. While Bayer is actively scouting new technologies in Israel, this will be their first official foray into the early stage agriculture arena. Seed and plant protection will be the primary focus of the fund.
